Two men died in a traffic accident on a road from the center of Yerevan to one of the suburbs, Armenian Ministry of Emergency reported.
YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. Two men died in a traffic accident on a road from the center of Yerevan to one of the suburbs, Armenian Ministry of Emergency reported.
According to the report, yesterday evening an accident occurred on Miasnikyan Avenue near the Zoo, injured were reported. A squad and a quick reaction group from the Crisis Management Center were sent to the accident place.
Under still uncertain circumstances, a Volkswagen Golf went off the trafficway and slammed into a power pole.
Before rescuers arrived, the driver, Vardan Nadarian (born in 1958) was transported to First University Hospital after Heratsi, where he died two hours later. The passenger, Hakop Nadaryan, died on the spot, and the corpse was retrieved from the car by rescuers. –0--
