YEREVAN, October 19. /ARKA/. In recent days, a woman died in a maternity clinic in Vanadzor upon giving birth to her baby.
Karine Saribekyan, chief of the mother and baby health protection division of the Armenian healthcare ministry, told Novosti-Armenia referring to preliminary data that Hripsime Nazlukhanyan, 32, has died of bleeding.
«We can't provide detailed information, since preliminary investigation and forensic examination are under way now,» she said. «The only thing that can be presumed that the woman was quite aged for the first birth, but this is still not a problem.»
Saribekyan said that the baby has no health problems. His weight is normal. --0----
