Sargsyan thanked Medvedev for his efforts to settle Karabakh conflict and expressed hope that these efforts would produce results soon.

He said that some important agreements have been reached when Medvedev visited Armenia in August.

“We decided then to meet in late fall and summarize the results of implementation of these agreements,” he said.

“I would like to say with pleasure that our strategic partnership is developing properly and political consultations continue at all levels,” the Armenian president said. “The documents signed during your official visit to Armenia gave a new impetus to our relations.”

Medvedev, in return, stressed the importance of such meetings saying that relations between the two countries are preferential in nature.
