On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, RA President Robert Kocharyan issued a decree awarding medals to a number of officers of the RA Police for their service.

YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, RA President Robert Kocharyan issued a decree awarding medals to a number of officers of the RA Police for their service.

The RA presidential press service reports that the Medal “For courage” was awarded to Sergeant Major of the Ashtarak regional police department Armen Nikoghosyan.

The Medal “For battle service” has been awarded to Chief of the Investigation Department, Tavush regional police department, Colonel Valery Ambaryan, and Commander of a squad of the Regiment in charge of security of governmental establishments and enterprises, Sergeant Major Seyran Hanrapetyan.

The Medal “For excellent maintenance of public order” was awarded to Chief of the Department for Maintenance of Public Order Valery Khublaryan. P.T. –0--
