Armenia and UAE intent to cooperate in fields of agriculture, tourism and air communications

Armenia’s President Robert Kocharyan will make a task visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 11-13, 2007.
YEREVAN, December 10. /ARKA/. Armenia’s President Robert Kocharyan will make a task visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 11-13, 2007.
The President’s press service told ARKA that on December 12 Kocharyan will meet with UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Premier Minister and Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Raschid Al. Maktoum.
Kocharyan will also meet with General Director of Abu Dhabi Development Agency Ahmad Humaid Al Mazrouie, will participate in the opening ceremony of Armenia’s Embassy in the UAE, and will meet with the representatives of local Armenian community. Within the visit, the sides will sign agreements on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and air communications.
The Armenian Government and Abu Dhabi Development Agency will sign an agreement on financing the rehabilitation work of Arpa-Sevan tunnel in Armenia.
On the last day Kocharyan will visit Ras al Khaimah, where he will meet with successor to the throne, Vice-Head of the Emirate Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi. Among the Armenian delegation are Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, Head of President’s staff Armen Gevorgyan, Deputy Chairman of State Customs Committee Gagik Khachatryan, and other officials. –0--
