YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Zharangutyun (Heritage) Party submitted complaint about election illegalities to Central Election Commission, Anahit Bakhshyan, MP from Heritage party, said.

She told ARKA News Agency that violence was committed against the party’s MPs and Haykakan Zhamanak newpaper correspondent at polling station #13/16 of Yerevan’s district of Erebuni.

Bakhchyan said that alarming information was received from the party’s monitoring group about open voting at the mentioned polling station.

She said that MP Armen Martirosyan and Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper correspondent Lusine Barseghyan, which started to make a video record there.

“A group of young men stood outside the polling station. The journalist recorded them as well. A fight broken out, and the men took the camera from her”, Bakhchyan said.

She said Martirosyan called police. However, the policemen that came to the polling station took him away.

Zaruhi Postanjyan, MP from Heritage party, underwent violence as well.-0-
