Armenian lawmakers passed Tuesday at the second, final reading a package of amendments to the law on state service that downs the age of eligibility to be employed as adviser to officials from 30 to 25 and the minimum work experience from five to three years.

Vagharshak Hakobyan, an MP from My Step faction who has proposed the bill, said this alteration applies to heads of state-governing agencies, which work as advisors to all officials - from the country's president and prime minister to heads of communities. -0---
