YEREVAN, September 27/ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

"We discussed the current situation in the Middle East with my colleague Abdallah Bou Habib. I expressed sincere condolences over the recent civilian casualties in Lebanon and stressed Armenia's principled position on the immediate cessation of hostilities and the need to avoid further escalation," Mirzoyan wrote in his X. -0-
