Armenia is swiftly emerging as an appealing destination for global business, says British Ambassador

YEREVAN, October 17. /ARКА/. Armenia is swiftly evolving into a vibrant and appealing location for international business, as stated by Alexandra Cole, the British Ambassador to Armenia.

"Armenia holds a strategically beneficial geographical location, which, if leveraged, could serve as a junction between Europe and Asia," she remarked during the International Trade and Investment Forum commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Investment Council of Armenia, with support from the EBRD. Her remarks were reported by Armenpress.

The Ambassador highlighted that Armenia is undergoing a significant transformation. "We are witnessing a reform agenda. I believe Armenia and its people have always possessed a robust entrepreneurial spirit, but now I genuinely sense that spirit awakening in a new manner," the Ambassador expressed.

She referred to the UK as a longstanding ally in Armenia's progress and committed to supporting the establishment of a more competitive and dynamic business landscape in the nation.

"We anticipate that today's forum will unite business leaders, policymakers, and investors from Armenia and beyond, offering opportunities to explore and establish partnerships that will influence the future of trade and investment throughout the region," Cole stressed.
