YEREVAN, May 19. /ARKA/. The Armenian side proposed to raise relations with Cyprus to the level of strategic cooperation, said Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan in Yerevan at a press conference with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Anita Dimitriou.

He noted that this proposal was positively received by the Cypriot side.

According to the speaker, numerous issues related to bilateral relations, as well as cooperation on international platforms, were discussed at the meeting with Dimitriou.

Dimitriu, in turn, called relations with Armenia excellent, stating that it could not be otherwise. -0-
