YEREVAN, July 28. /ARKA/. Armenia ranked 73rd in the July edition of the Henley Passport Index 2026, falling two places compared to the January update.

According to the published data, Armenian passport holders can visit 65 countries and territories visa-free or with a visa on arrival.

In the previous, January edition of the index, Armenia ranked 71st, with 66 destinations offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel. Thus, in six months, the country has lost one visa-free entry and two spots in the global ranking.

Singapore remains the leader in the July ranking, with citizens enjoying visa-free access to 192 destinations. Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the United Arab Emirates ranked second (188 destinations), followed by Sweden (187).

The Henley Passport Index is published by Henley & Partners using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and evaluates the travel freedom of holders of 199 passports to 227 destinations worldwide. The 20th anniversary edition of the index was released on July 21, 2026.
