A sergeant of the Karabakh armed forces- Armen Hovhannisyan- was killed in a clash between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops on January 20 overnight on the line of contact.

The subversive act was condemned by foreign ministers of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan and Nagorno-Karabakh Karen Mirzoyan.
