Armenia joins CIS financial intelligence agreement

The Armenian National Assembly ratified Thursday the agreement the CIS member countries signed on December 5, 2012 in Ashkhabad to establish the council of the heads of these countries’ financial intelligence agencies.

YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian National Assembly ratified Thursday the agreement the CIS member countries signed on December 5, 2012 in Ashkhabad to establish the council of the heads of these countries’ financial intelligence agencies.  

Nerses Yeritsyan, deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, said that this council will struggle against money laundering and financing of international terrorism. --0----
