YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. Armenia has been elected as member of UNESCO Committee on protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict, the press office of Armenia’s foreign ministry reported.

The fifth meeting of member states of the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention of 1954 for protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict was held in UNESCO headquarters in Paris on December 16-17. –0—
