Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister is in Germany on official visit

Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia Aram Harutyunyan headed to Germany on an official visit, the Ministry reported to ARKA on Monday.

YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia Aram Harutyunyan headed to Germany on an official visit, the Ministry reported to ARKA on Monday.
Harutyunyan will stay there till February 28. Within the visit, he will meet Peter Altmaier who is Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany.
“The sides will discuss the platforms for bilateral cooperation, professional experience exchange, collaboration with NABU (NATURE AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION UNION), InWENT organization related to expanding the protected territories (Arpi lake, Armenia) in the Caucasus within the framework of Germany’s initiative to preserve biodiversity,” according to the source.
Declaration on cooperation is to be signed upon the end of the meeting. -0-
