Orinats Yerkir (Country of Law) coalition party retained its three minister posts at the new cabinet, the party’s press office reported.
YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Orinats Yerkir (Country of Law) coalition party retained its three minister posts at the new cabinet, the party’s press office reported.
At its regular political council meeting Tuesday the party decided to propose Samvel Tadevosyan for the post of urban planning minister, Sergo Karapetyan as minister of agriculture and Armen Yeritsyan as minister of emergency situations.
The party meeting also made a decision to recall deputy minister of emergencies Avag Hakobyan from the government.
Earlier, the Republic Party of Armenia meeting to appoint the minister of finance Vache Gabrielyan as the head of administration and David Sargsyan to the ministry of finance post.
Legendary weightlifter Yuri Vardanyan will replace Hrachyan Rostomyan as the minister of youth affairs and sports.
Minister of economy Tigran Davtyan will become Armenia’s representative to WTO leaving his post to an international expert and ex-minister of economy Vahram Avanesyan.
Under a memorandum signed between the Republican Party of Armenia and Orinats Yerkir after the presidential elections on May 30 2012, the latter received three minister portfolios. –0—
