YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. ‘Ukrainian’ scenario is not possible in Armenia, Armenia’s premier Tigran Sargsyan told reporters Wednesday.

“Our political team and the leader (Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan) are striving to build a dialogue with opponents. We always support cooperation”, the premier said admitting there are economic problems in the country.

Sargsyan also said the Armenian nation has already faced similar developments, and both the authorities and the parties learned a lesson from them.

“I am confident both the parties and the people will show wisdom and discretion”, Sargsyan said as quoted by Novosti-Armenia.

On the other hand, according to the premier, the majority of the population is supporting the official foreign policy, and there is no objective basis for a political shock.

Sargsyan said he is sorry about what happened in Ukraine and wished his Ukrainian colleagues to overcome the political crisis.

“We are friends with Ukraine, and we are interested to have the processes there settled as soon as possible”, Armenian premier said. –0—
