Armenian Defense Ministry announces another disinformation spread by Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. On Sunday evening, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced another instance of disinformation by Azerbaijan regarding alleged shooting on the border.
"The statement by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, claiming that on the evening of March 29 and the morning of March 30, units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border, is not true," the Armenian Ministry of Defense said.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense reminded that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia had proposed the creation of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or related information. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia affirms that, in accordance with the position of the Office of the Prime Minister, it is ready to investigate any facts supporting the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense’s statement, once they are provided to the Armenian side.
