Armenian Defense Ministry once again called Azerbaijan’s report of shelling on the border disinformation

YEREVAN, March 18. /ARКА/. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has once again spread disinformation, according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
"The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's claim that, on March 17, between 17:25 and 21:45, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border zone is false," the statement said.
The ministry also reminded that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia had proposed creating a joint mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or related information. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to this proposal.
"The Armenian Ministry of Defense confirms that, in line with the position of the Prime Minister's Office, it is ready to investigate any facts supporting the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement, should they be provided to Armenia," the statement added.
On March 16-17, the Armenian Ministry of Defense refuted Azerbaijani claims four times that units of the Armenian Armed Forces had opened fire on Azerbaijani positions in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border zone.
