YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Armenian Ministry of Defense denies Azerbaijan's disinformation about a shooting on the border.

"The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, claiming that on March 4, at around 22:05, units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia (RA) opened fire toward Azerbaijani positions located in the southeastern section of the border, is false," the Armenian Ministry of Defense press service stated.

The RA Ministry of Defense also reminded that the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia had proposed the creation of a joint mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or related information. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
