Armenian Defense Minister and French Senate member discuss military cooperation

YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/ Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received on Tuesday in Yerevan a member of the French Senate Committees on Foreign Relations, Defense, Armed Forces and European Affairs Ronan Le Gloyot.

During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral relations between Armenia and France in the field of defense, as well as issues related to cooperation with the European Union, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

The interlocutors also discussed regional security issues and large-scale reforms being implemented in the Armenian Armed Forces.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Olivier Decottigny attended the meeting.
