YEREVAN, May 26, /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan chaired today a regular meeting of the Defense Minister’s Board that discussed the structure of the Armed Forces, the existing problems and ways of solving them.

The Ministry of Defense quoted Papikyan as saying that all the defense-related programs and priority tasks must be implemented properly, with high quality and within the specified time.

Reference was made to the equipping of engineering and fortification structures, the process of formation and staffing of new special purpose units, as well as the certification examinations of servicemen that will start in the coming days. -0-
