YEREVAN, September 27. /ARKA/. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesman of the Armenian defense ministry, at a briefing at the United Information Center on Sunday, presented facts indicating that Azerbaijan began military operations against Artsakh.

“In parallel with the outbreak of hostilities, relevant announcements appeared in the Azerbaijani media that the Armenian side allegedly carried out a raid, and they allegedly give us an answer. But our specialists, colleagues presented numerous facts regarding the obvious various planned actions in the Azerbaijani media,” he said.

Hovhannisyan pointed out that this is also indicated by the data on air traffic between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as the fact that in the morning, just a few minutes after the start of actions, intensive work of the Turkish and Azerbaijani media is being conducted.

“This is followed by official information from Azerbaijan that they are going to a large-scale counter-offensive operation. All this shows that Azerbaijan has planned all this in detail. It is impossible to plan an operation in one hour or a day; it is impossible for a journalist to reach the front line in one minute. And this evidence is numerous,” Hovhannisyan said.

He stated that this data is being collected and will be presented in full.

Aggravation of the situation in Artsakh

On September 27, at 07:10, Azerbaijani troops launched an offensive along the entire length of the line of contact in Artsakh. According to the defense ministries of Armenia and Artsakh, the enemy launched aerial and rocket fire, but was thrown back on several sections of the contact line.

The Azerbaijani side suffered casualties and losses in equipment. In particular, it lost three tanks, two helicopters and three UAVs.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces are shelling, among other things, peaceful settlements, in particular, the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert. Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan held a telephone conversation with the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, introduced him to the situation at the border and said that Azerbaijan had unleashed another provocation. -0-
