Armenian PM to leave for Sochi for meeting with Russian and Azerbaijani leaders

YEREVAN, October 26. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed today he will fly to the southern Russian city of Sochi for a meeting with Azerbaijani and Russian presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.
He said the invitation was sent by Russian president to hold a trilateral meeting in Sochi on October 31. 'I confirmed my participation," he said at a government Q&A session in parliament. Pashinyan said he did not know whether the Azerbaijani leader also agreed to participate in the meeting.
Speaking about expectations from the upcoming meeting, Pashinyan said that the previous trilateral meeting in that format was held in November last year, and the most important expectations from the upcoming meeting are to assess the events that followed it.
"I can step back and get to the November 9, 2020 trilateral statement. I think there's a lot of issues that have piled up and an exchange of views, clarifications and answers to questions are needed,' he said.-0-
