YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. Armenian soldier Hakob Injigulian who was taken captive in Azerbaijan last year and was later transferred to a third party, returned home Wednesday night.

Injigulyan told people gathered at Zvartnots airport in Yerevan that his decision is to continue the military service during the nine months left. He also said he was being threatened and treated with violence when being a prisoner of war in Azerbaijan. They forced him to refuse to return home, he said.

On August 8 2013, Armenian soldier Hakob Injigulyan got lost and crossed the border into Azerbaijani territory. Baku TV channels’ interviews with Injigulyan showed him wearing Azerbaijani uniform. International Red Cross representatives had been unable to meet Injigulyan for long time. Armenia said it was a severe violation of the international law.
