Armenian premier appoints sport and youth affairs minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed today Gabriel Ghazaryan, who is now deputy sport and youth affairs minister, as sport and youth affairs minister.

YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed today Gabriel Ghazaryan, who is now deputy sport and youth affairs minister, as sport and youth affairs minister.
He has already run the ministry over a period between 2014 and 2016.
This ministerial seat remained vacant after on October 2 three parties’ lawmakers, in a bid to retain their seats in the National Assembly, passed a bill hindering dismissal of the parliament.
Armenian Prime Minster Nikol Pashinyan then called on people to come to the area outside the parliament building.
At that rally, the premier informed people about the dismissal of ministers from Prosperous Armenia and Dashnaktsutiun parties. Later, he also dismissed these parties’ provincial governors. -0----
