Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan has appointed today former economy minister Artsvik Minasyan as minister of nature protection in the new government of prime minister Karen Karapetyan.

YEREVAN, September 27. /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan has appointed today former economy minister Artsvik Minasyan as minister of nature protection in the new government of prime minister Karen Karapetyan.

Artsvik Minasyan and two other members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) have been reappointed as ministers as part of a power-sharing agreement the party had signed earlier this year with the governing Republican Party of Armenia.

President Sargsyan has also appointed secretary general of Armenia’s National Olympic Committee Hrachya Rostomyan as minister of sport and youth affairs. He served in this capacity in 2012-2013.
By another decree president Sargsyan has appointed Levon Altunyan, head of Ingo Armenia insurance company, as new minister of health.

Suren Karayan has been appointed as minister of economy. Before this appointment Karayan served as deputy minister of reform and international economic integration.

Also Armen Amiryan, a member of the Public TV and Radio Council, has been appointed as minister of culture.

Levon Mkrtchyan from the ARF has been reappointed as minister of education and science and another ARF member, David Lokyan has been reappointed as minister of territorial administration and development. President Sargsyan has also reappointed Artem Asatryan as minister of labor and social affairs. 

Armen Yeritsyan has been reappointed as minister of emergency situations, Arpine Hovhanisyan as minister of justice and Hranush Hakobyan as minister of Diaspora. -0-
