Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the president of the United States Barack Obama on the mass killing which took place at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

YEREVAN, December 17, /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the president of the United States Barack Obama on the mass killing which took place at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. 

The letter states: “Dear Mr. President, w were shaken by the news on the horrendous killing, which occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. I sternly condemn that vicious crime which took lives of over two dozens people, including twenty kids, leaving incurable wounds in the hearts of their families, friends, and witnesses. I convey my heartfelt condolences to You and families of all victims. I wish those injured a speedy recovery. I also wish tenacity and spiritual strength to the families of the victims and the people of the United States.”

President Obama traveled on Sunday to Connecticut's Newtown, a town in mourning after Adam Lanza gunned down 26 people, including 20 first-graders at the Sandy Hook Elementary School before committing suicide last week. 

The police said Lanza, 20, used a long rifle and shot the 6-7 year olds multiple times in the carnage that shocked the world and left the America searching for answers. 

Most of the world’s nations sent their thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families. Everyone from Vladimir Putin to Queen Elizabeth expressed their sympathy. -0-
