YEREVAN, October 2 /ARKA/. On Wednesday, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan received Patrick Pryor, Director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency's Regional Center for Europe and Eurasia, the agency's press service reported.

Secretary of the Security Council expressed satisfaction with the interaction established as a result of close cooperation between Armenia and the United States.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on a number of issues on the agenda and outlined future areas of cooperation; Grigoryan presented reforms to improve and modernize the security system.

The parties also discussed the regional security situation and touched upon some issues on the extra-regional security environment. -0-
