Artsakh National Assembly calls on world countries’ parliaments to recognize republic’s independence
YEREVAN, October 5. /ARKA/. The National Assembly of Artsakh sent a statement to the parliaments of other countries regarding the need for international recognition of the republic.

In its address, the National Assembly of Artsakh strongly condemns the military aggression of Turkey and Azerbaijan in alliance with international terrorist organizations against the republic and calls on the parliaments of the countries of the world to recognize the independence of Artsakh, which is the most effective means of stopping the ongoing serious crimes against the peaceful population of Artsakh and protecting their rights.

The statement denounces the ongoing violations of the fundamental rights of the citizens of Artsakh and the obstruction of the realization of their inalienable rights as a crime against humanity.

It is also indicated that the large-scale armed attack on Artsakh continues with increasing intensity and is accompanied by serious violations of the laws and customs used during armed conflicts, including the use of indiscriminate weapons and great destructive power against cities and villages, including the capital, Stepanakert, which led to numerous civilian casualties.
