YEREVAN, May 22. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the line of contact in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Artsakh Ministry of Defense reported.

"On May 21, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the northern and eastern sections of the line of contact with the use of small arms. The Armenian side has no losses," the defense ministry said.

It noted that the ceasefire violation was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in Artsakh. As of 10:00 a.m. May 22, the situation on the line of contact was relatively stable. -0-
