There is effective basis for bringing Armenia-Georgia bilateral relationship up to a new level, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said at his meeting with the Georgian counterpart Georgy Margvelashvili Thursday.

YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. There is effective basis for bringing Armenia-Georgia bilateral relationship up to a new level, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said at his meeting with the Georgian counterpart Georgy Margvelashvili Thursday.

Armenia’s president was in Czech Republic with a working visit to participate in a high-level meeting on the fifth anniversary of EU Eastern Partnership.

The sides discussed the Armenian-Georgian agenda, including political dialogue, economic and cultural ties, as well as prospects for development of relations, the press office reported

The presidents stressed the importance of mutual high-level visits for consistent improvement of relations. In terms of economic cooperation Sargsyan and Margvelashvili considered transport and communication a priority. –0—
