Dashnaktsutiun willing to join Armenian ruling coalition

Hrant Margaryan, a representative of the bureau of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun, said Tuesday that the party is almost ready to accept the invitation of the Republican Party of Armenia to the ruling coalition, Novosti-Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. Hrant Margaryan, a representative of the bureau of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun, said Tuesday that the party is almost ready to accept the invitation of the Republican Party of Armenia to the ruling coalition, Novosti-Armenia reports.
In an interview to Liberty Radio, he said that two days ago he was negotiating with Serzh Sargsyan, the Armenian president and the ruling party leader, over the matter.
He said that before the constitutional referendum the party members denied the fact of any talk between the party and the authorities about the ruling coalition, but now Dashnaktsutiun is negotiating with the authorities for joining the coalition.
He confirmed this adding that he had nothing to hide.
In his words, the party carries responsibility for advocating the new Constitution. In his words, the party also carries responsibility for putting the constitutional reforms into the reality.
Margaryan refrained from saying whether the party will join the ruling coalition before the 2017 parliamentary elections. --0----
