YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKA/. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has satisfied Armenia's application and applied interim measures against Azerbaijan. Armenia's representative for international legal affairs said in a Facebook post.

"More details will be provided soon," the representative said.

Earlier, the court ruled to give Azerbaijan until 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19 (France time) to respond to Armenia's demand to unblock the Lachin corridor, which is the only road linking Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia.

On December 14, Armenia, in accordance with the regulations of the UN International Court of Justice, appealed in writing to the ECHR, demanding interim measures against Azerbaijan and obliging the latter to unblock the Lachin corridor. Armenia informed on Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor and the resulting violation of the rights of the people of Artsakh. -0-
