EU aims to get closer to Armenia: Kaja Kallas to President of Armenia

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas discussed her upcoming visit to Yerevan at a meeting with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan in Rome.

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas discussed her upcoming visit to Yerevan at a meeting with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan in Rome.
"I reaffirmed the EU's strong commitment to deepening ties. We exchanged views on the situation in the South Caucasus, including efforts to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and establish peace in the region," Kallas wrote on her social platform.
The Armenian President was in Rome to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
