YEREVAN, April 1. /ARKA/. Germany supports all efforts aimed at reducing tension and peaceful resolution of the problems on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Nagorno-Karabakh, German Ambassador to Armenia Viktor Richter said at a meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Friday.

The sides discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian Defense Ministry's Press Service reported.

It said Minister Papikyan noted that the actions of Azerbaijani side endanger the fragile regional stability. He said the international community needs to take swift measures to prevent the escalation of the situation.

Issues related to the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were also discussed during the meeting. -0-
