Governor of Lori resigns

The governor of the Lori province of Armenia, Andrey Ghukasyan, has tendered a letter of resignation to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

YEREVAN, December 16. /ARKA/. The governor of the Lori province of Armenia, Andrey Ghukasyan, has tendered a letter of resignation to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“My resignation is conditioned by the decision of the political team, which I accepted unconditionally, without hesitation. I consider the last two and a half years being the most responsible period of my life, when I had the honor to hold the extremely responsible post of the head of the region,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Ghukasyan was appointed as governor of Lori on October 10, 2018. -0-
