Ara Abrahamyan, the head of the Union of Armenians in Russia, finds Armenian PM Zaruhi Postanjyan’s question to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan at the recent PACE session unacceptable.

YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. Ara Abrahamyan, the head of the Union of Armenians in Russia, finds Armenian PM Zaruhi Postanjyan’s question to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan at the recent PACE session unacceptable.
Postanjyan, the secretary of Heritage opposition faction in the Armenian National Assembly, asked the president “who has paid the 70 million euros he has lost in one of Europe’s casinos”. The latter denied this saying he has never been in casinos.
One day later Hovik Abrahamyan, the speaker at the Armenian National Assembly, expressed his intention to read Zaruhi out of the Armenian delegation in the PACE for that.
“We have no right to undermine the reputation of the Armenian president,” Ara Abrahamyan was quoted by Novosti-Armenia as saying at a news conference.
In his opinion, only foreign policy issues, not internal problems, may be put up to the PACE floor.
“If we have some problems, we should solve them here in Armenia, especially taking into account that there is everything for doing it,” he pronounced adding that Postanjyan shoot herself in the foot by putting this question to the president.
Abrahamyan is also convinced that she inflicted damage to the entire Armenian nation. ----0----
