YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. While introducing today the new health minister Derenik Dumanian to the ministry staff, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said the main challenge of the ministry is to significantly improve the quality of medical services and make them accessible to all citizens of Armenia.

"It's no secret that many of our citizens do not have money to make use of health services. Our primary goal is to make sure that financial problems do not become an obstacle for the treatment of a person ", he said.

Sargsyan said that the newly appointed minister is a well-known person in the health sector and his experience and knowledge will contribute to the effective solution of the agency’s challenges.

The new minister said the society has high expectations from the ministry of health, "and we must do everything possible to meet these expectations."

"We need to improve the quality of services and make them available to people so that people are not afraid of getting sick," he said. -0-
