YEREVAN, January 3. /ARKA/. In 2023 France will continue its efforts to promote Armenia's development and help it boost its economy, French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot said in her bilingual New Year's greeting posted on the Embassy's Facebook page.

Recalling that the year 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of establishment of Armenian-French diplomatic relations, Anne Louyot singled out a number of high-level bilateral events and contacts.

For instance, French-Armenian decentralized cooperation forum held in Lyon in June provided an opportunity to launch new projects, in particular, between Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and Armenian Syunik marz.

"These bilateral exchanges will continue in 2023 as well, in particular in connection with the planned visit of the President of the National Assembly of France Mrs. Yaël Braun-Pivet to Yerevan," said the Ambassador.

As for the programs for 2023, Anne Louyot said that special attention will be paid to the monitoring of the French-Armenian economic roadmap in the context defined by the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU and in line with the goals of this document.

In addition, France will continue projects for the development of cooperation with Armenia in the educational and cultural spheres. --0--
