Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov have discussed the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported today.

YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov have discussed the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported today.

"The Russian side stressed the importance of the earliest resumption of the work on the implementation of the trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on November 9, 2020, January 11 and 26 November 2021 and October 31, 2022, including the reopening of all transport and economic relations in the region, delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, reaching an agreement of parameters of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, as well as promotion of the dialogue of public, experts and parliamentarians," the Russian ministry said in a statement.

The ministers were said also to have exchanged views on a number of topical issues of bilateral agenda, expressing mutual intention to strengthen the alliance between Moscow and Yerevan.

The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the Armenian side. -0-
