YEREVAN, April 1. /ARKA/. Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanovic at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of consistent development of traditional relations with Armenia.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, he noted that the purpose of his visit to Armenia is to discuss opportunities for stimulating bilateral cooperation and further steps.

Pashinyan said that the Armenian government is interested in intensifying cooperation with Montenegro in political, economic and other areas.

The sides discussed the expansion of trade and economic ties, cooperation in the fields of education and tourism. The sides attached importance to the increase of air flights, which will promote the expansion of human contacts and deepening of business ties. The sides also exchanged views on the development of cooperation between Yerevan and Potgorica.

Pashinyan and Ivanovic discussed issues of regional importance, particularly the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Pashinyan emphasized the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda, while Ivanovic expressed Montenegro's support for efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. -0-
