Nalbandyan and Rivlin emphasize Armenians’ and Jews’ responsibility for preventing crimes against humanity

Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan and Israel’s president Reuven Rivlin stressed at their meeting in Jerusalem on Thursday that Armenians and Jews have special responsibility for preventing crimes against humanity, the press office of the Armenian foreign ministry says.
YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan and Israel’s president Reuven Rivlin stressed at their meeting in Jerusalem on Thursday that Armenians and Jews have special responsibility for preventing crimes against humanity, the press office of the Armenian foreign ministry says.
Welcoming Armenia’s foreign minister, Rivlin said his visit is important and expressed confidence it will help strengthen Armenia-Israel relations.
Nalbandyan, in turn, thanked for the reception and emphasized the millennia-old friendship between the Armenian and the Jewish peoples creates a good basis for strengthening of the inter-state relations.
The sides also said intensified political dialogue will open up opportunities for expansion of cooperation in other fields as well. –0--
