YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. Armenia and Azerbaijan today have an opportunity to achieve lasting peace after years of confrontation. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said today in a statement with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

"This is why I call on both sides to come to an agreement to normalize relations and achieve a lasting peace for the peoples. During the meeting we discussed the importance of stability in the South Caucasus," Stoltenberg said.

He said NATO supports Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Armenia is committed to the normalization of relations with Turkey. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a statement in Yerevan with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

"We find that the implementation of the agreements reached back in 2022 which were reconfirmed later can positively affect the establishment of stability in the South Caucasus," Pashinyan said.-0-
