YEREVAN, August 16. /ARKA/. The new government of Armenia has resolved the main problems since its inception 100 days ago, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a recurrent Cabinet meeting  on Thursday.

"Over the 100 days we have resolved our main problems, having ensured the natural functioning of the country and the natural development of the economy in the post-revolutionary period," he said.

At the same time, the prime minister said that the authorities are moving to a new stage of forced reforms in order to give the country's economy a new breath and change the gear to "second speed".

"I hope that the energy accumulated during these 100 days, the results of which will be summarized tomorrow during the rally, will enable us to resolve with a new force those issues that the citizens of Armenia put before us," the prime minister said.

Pashinyan was elected prime minister by parliament on May 8 on the wave of the ‘velvet revolution’ after deposing on April 23 former president (and short-lived prime minister) Serzh Sargsyan, who sought a third consecutive term in office as prime minister. -0-
