No opposition party in Armenia has any prospect for coming to power - Iskandaryan
YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. Not a single opposition political party in Armenia is able to come to power, Alexander Iskandaryan, a political analyst and the head of the Caucasus Institute, told journalists on Wednesday.

“The opposition is decomposed and not legitimate, just like the authorities,” he said. “Those people who cast their votes for opposition MPs vote against the authorities, not in favor of the opposition, and such voting can lead to strange consequences.”

Iskandaryan is convinced that the opposition parties that will run for seats in the National Assembly will fail to achieve any significant success in the 2017 parliamentary elections.

The racing opposition parties will be opposed to each other and they can’t accept a compromise with the authorities, since people will lose confidence in them.

The 2017 parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for April. --0---
