Ohanyan inspects combat readiness of troops in Karabakh

As part of military cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Armenian defense minister Seyran Ohanyan visited Saturday the north-eastern section of the heavily militarized line of contact around Nagorno-Karabakh to inspect the troops deployed along it.
YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. As part of military cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Armenian defense minister Seyran Ohanyan visited Saturday the north-eastern section of the heavily militarized line of contact around Nagorno-Karabakh to inspect the troops deployed along it.
He was accompanied by NKR defense minister Levon Mnatsakanyan. A statement by Armenian defense ministry said the two ministers visited various positions located between Talish and Mataghis on the front line to discuss problems related to the combat readiness of troops. The two men were said to have spent the night at this site.
On June 5, they visited other sections of the line of contact. Later on that day Ohanyan had a meeting with NKR leadership to discuss ways to improve the combat readiness of the troops. -0-
