YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. At some point, if efforts to conclude a peace agreement with Azerbaijan fail, the Armenian side may refuse to sign any document with it, parliament speaker Alen Simonyan said on Tuesday.

"Negotiations continue. Working groups are meeting, but this does not speak about anything," Simonyan said at the National Assembly session during the hour of statements.

The speaker reiterated that the issue of transferring any sovereign part of Armenia's territory to Azerbaijan is not discussed and in principle is not subject to discussion.

On Monday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said it had sent the 8th edition of the peace proposals on a peace treaty to the Azerbaijani side. -0-
