Pashinyan meets with FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu to discuss food security, agricultural cooperation
YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Director-General of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Qu Dongyu, on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan praised the effective cooperation between the Armenian government and FAO, particularly in the area of food security. He emphasized the importance of continuing joint projects in agriculture and environmental protection, expressing confidence that Qu Dongyu's visit would further enhance the partnership.
Qu Dongyu acknowledged the productive discussions held with Armenian government partners, focusing on the progress of ongoing programs and exploring opportunities for new initiatives. The FAO Director-General highlighted that the aim of implementing new programs is to strengthen food security and address related challenges in Armenia and other countries.
