'Problem' section of border with Azerbaijan near Tegh village reduced by 1.4 km- PM says

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. The 'problem' section' of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border near the village of Tegh in Armenia’s southeastern province of Syunik has shrank by 1.4 km, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told a government meeting on Thursday.
'A 5 km-long stretch of an 11-kilometer-long section of the border near Tegh village was considered problem," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, adding that the section has shrunk by 1.4 kilometers.
'This means that a border section on such a stretch has been clarified. It means that both we and Azerbaijanis have a general idea about this border stretch," Pashinyan said.
He said that Armenian and Azerbaijani border troops will be stationed at a certain distance from those points.
On April 11 at around 4 pm. Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the direction of Armenian soldiers who were carrying out engineering work near Tegh community. At around 17:30 Azerbaijani troops fired mortars in the same direction. According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, four Armenian soldiers were killed in the fighting and six others were wounded. -0-
